Frequently asked Questions

  • Do I have to insure my Valeriana women myself?

    No of course not. Our employees are all well insured with us. You don’t have to worry about anything.

  • How do I pay?

    Via invoice. We trust you. After the booking has been successfully completed, we send you a payment slip via e-mail, to save the environment. You can transfer the amount within 10 days via the post office, the bank or via online-banking.

  • What if there is a problem?

    It is vital to us that both you and our employees feel comfortable. Therefore, we kindly ask you to call us at the slightest notice of a problem on +41 44 515 45 07 or to contact us by e-mail via hallo@valeriana.ch. Sometimes it’s just a misunderstanding, which is quickly sorted with a short phone call. You can talk to us about everything.

  • How can I estimate the effort in hours for my booking?

    Washing & ironing: We expect an hourly rate of 42.00 CHF. (VAT included). For a normal load of laundry, colored, black or white, including hanging and drying, 20 minutes will be charged. As soon as it comes to ironing and folding the clothes, the hourly rate of 42.00 CHF will be charged accordingly.

    Cleaning: In the basic cleaning(+) of an apartment or unit, the booking of two hours is given. In special cases or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    The hourly rate for home cleaning is 42.00 CHF (VAT included)

    • 2 room apartment/unit (ca. 45 square meters): 2 hours
    • 3 room apartment/unit (ca. 70 square meters): 2.5 hours
    • 4 room apartment/unit (ca. 85 square meters): 3 hours
    • Apartments/units with more square meters: 4 hours and by arrangement

    If there is still time left after the basic cleaning, of course other activities such as cleaning the windows, cleaning the inside and outside the kitchen cupboards, cleaning the fridge and the oven etc. will be tackled.

    (+) Vacuuming, mopping the floor, cleaning toilets, cleaning kitchen surfaces, dusting.

    Sewing & mending: For sewing and mending, we expect an hourly rate of 42.00 CHF (including VAT, excluding any material costs). The time is estimated after the request, so you know roughly how much it costs (Margin plus / minus 10% of the estimated amount).

    To ensure, that your clothes fit properly, we take your measurements at home. This service costs an extra of 15.00 CHF.

  • Do I have to provide cleaning products?

    No, that's not necessary. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products by Uni Sapon and bring these along including sponges and rags. All you have to do is provide a vacuum cleaner and mop together with a bucket.

  • Do I have to be home for cleaning?

    You must be present at the beginning of the first appointment so that you can show everything and discuss your wishes. Thereafter, the handover of the key is to be agreed on individually. A quick exchange before starting any cleaning is always nice and strengthens the trust and relationship.
