We are sustainable.
Have you ever heard of the “butterfly effect”? Behind the intriguing name lies the theory that a flap of a butterfly’s wing can cause a mighty hurricane elsewhere in the world. In less flowery terms, every action, no matter how insignificant it may appear to us, can have enormous consequences. Everything is connected. To us, this means that we respect the fact that the world’s resources are limited and treat them with the corresponding consideration. We don’t view growth as a steep upward curve, but rather as a circle that we want to close by repeatedly asking ourselves how we can make our work even more sustainable.
Clean home and office, clear conscience
Have you ever asked yourself where cleanliness begins and where it ends? Under the bed? At the front door? On the driveway? For us, cleanliness begins long before we start the cleaning process and doesn’t stop afterwards. We want to leave the world as clean as your home. That is why we take great care to ensure that the cleaning products we use neither harm you nor the planet. With the Austrian company Uni Sapon, we’ve got a partner by our side that doesn’t just share our values but has also implemented them into brilliant cleaning products.
All of their products are made from locally sourced, natural and sustainable raw materials and are still bottled by hand. Without toxic chemicals or any other funny stuff! They know how to harness the power of nature and have developed a clever concept of cleaning concentrates that is as efficient as it is effective. Instead of driving around trucks of what is mostly water with nearly homeopathic amounts of active ingredient, we simply draw the water from the tap and then add the cleaning solution ourselves — in spray bottles that we can fill up again and again. This saves CO2 and space and helps prevent waste. And when the concentrate has run out, we just send the containers back to be cleaned and refilled by Uni Sapon.
Circular economy at its best!
It is important to us to know where something comes from — and where it ends up later. That is also why all the sponges, linen and microfibre cloths that we use can be washed in the washing machine and then be re-used again and again. Linen in particular is a very robust and sustainable material that is — even during the production process — much more environmentally friendly than conventional fabrics. Once the time has come for our sponge cloths, they are simply added to the compost, where they decompose back into their original, natural constituents in a manner of weeks. For everything else that can’t return to its original state on its own, there’s our recycling service, which will help you process your waste so that it can spend many more lifecycles on this planet in various shapes and forms.
Sustainable relations
Sustainable entrepreneurship also means treating our employees with respect and passing our knowledge on to them. We train them to think and act in an environmentally conscious way and help them carry out their work in the most efficient and ergonomic way possible. Because every little gesture can have a big impact.
