Good to know Visit us at the 2020 Startup Night in Winterthur
There’s a first time for everything, and as start-up founders, we seem to be achieving one first after another: Creating a business for the first time, hiring employees for the first time, processing our first orders and getting the feeling for the first time that this may actually turn into something big... And after a year filled with firsts, the next one’s already on the agenda: Valeriana’s first trade fair appearance (ever!) at the 2020 Startup Night in Winterthur!
The event will be organised by the Entrepreneur Club Winterthur. The club is made up of business-savvy students from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, alumni and start-ups from the greater Winterthur region, and lets them network and engage in productive exchange. The Startup Night allows the broader public to take part in this as well.
Around 35 start-ups have already signed up to showcase what they have been up to on Friday, 25 September from 3.30 pm to 11.00 pm at the Technopark Winterthur. From technical ceramics and online whiteboards to sustainable beekeeping, it is going to be an exciting and diverse line-up. There will also be talks (including, among others, City Councillor Katrin [AB1] Cometta from the Green Liberal Party and Farmy.ch co-founder Tobias Schubert), workshops and plenty of food and, due the coronavirus situation, plenty of hand sanitiser, too!
And the Valeriana team will be right in the middle of it all with our little living room and we are really looking forward to meeting you and answering your questions over some tasty Baklava. We’re bringing face masks with us too (handmade by members of our staff, of course) as well as a whole lot of exciting stories about all the amazing women keeping Valeriana up and running.
So, come and pay us a visit as we make history with another first! We can’t wait to see you!
